  THE EVERGLADES & PHOSPHORUS POLLUTION 

The State of Florida and its taxpayers have spent billions on water quality technologies to protect America’s Everglades, and billions more are likely needed as Everglades restoration proceeds.

 

In recent years (2013, 2016 and 2018), Florida has had to endure summers lost to harmful algal blooms suffocating our waterways, and impacting our marine life, the natural environment, human health and tourism industry.
